Meet K9 Duke...

K9 Duke is a yellow Labrador Retriever.  Duke was born in Charleston, North Carolina.  Duke was brought to California at 8 weeks of age where he started his training in H.R.D. (Human Remains Detection).  Duke is certified with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, as well as the Office of Emergency Services in California.  Duke lives at home with his handler Mike Grossman.  Duke had a rough start when he was a pup.  We didn't know if he would ever get to be a working dog.  Good news is he made a full recovery and love his job.  Duke has become one of the best Cadaver Dogs our team has ever had.  Both Duke and Chase (brother) have a work ethic that does not quit.  When off duty, Duke loves playing tub with a rope and ripping apart stuffed animals.
