Meet K9 Ben...

K9 Ben is a Yellow Labrador Retriever.  Ben was born in South Dakota on 11/26/10.   At 8 weeks of age he was flown to California, where he went to a local family as a pet. It soon became evident Ben was full of energy and drive. He was donated to his handler Ernie Cox at approximately 12 weeks of age. At that point he started his training in Area Search. Ben is currently certified with the office of Emergency Services of California. When he's not working you can usually find Ben causing trouble and looking for something to eat.
